KOTOKA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, ACCRA - GHANA
The African Air Show brings together major players within the aviation industry, enabling a demanding clientele to discover the industry's latest developments and innovations.
Air traffic to, from, and within Africa is expected to grow by about 6.1 percent annually over the next 20 years as airplane technology continues to increase fuel efficiency, opening new international routes that were previously unattainable. Flights between Africa and Europe continue to account for the largest share of the region's air travel.
With more than 23 African and 50 international countries, the defence industry is widely represented and offers a large variety of aircraft, innovation and intelligent systems.
Airport infrastructures and suppliers
One of the aims of the African Air Show is to highlight the importance of infrastructure within aviation, this includes airport procurement, supplies, solutions and technology.
